Now I know this isn't strictly photography but after a hard day taking pictures what's your favourite tipple?!!! Mine is a Sauvignon Blanc called 33o degrees available from Sainsburys for around £4.99. One bottle has mysteriously gone today!!!!

A gentleman's measure :D of Drambuie over ice.

You've planted the idea now......

This might be a popular thread!!!

Depends what I've got in really, beer, wine, spirits; so long as there is a % on the label

Balvenie 15 y-o with a little water.

Gin (preferably Bombay Sapphire) with a dash of slimline tonic, ice and a good squeeze of lemon, yum yum :woot:

Gin, isn't that LadyLens favourite tipple?!

normally I'm taking rugby photos so it's a crate of Bulmers for me, before, during and after

Laphroig with a splash of water for me please

Alan

Carling, Fosters, John Smiths, Gin, Vodka, Red wine, Asda Smart Price Lager, Whisky, Brandy, Boddingtons, Caffreys, basically, as mentioned eariler, anything with a percentage on it, but these are my faves.

Cant stand white wine, but will drink most anything else

A good red wine for me, or a Caol Ila if I'm tending in the whisky direction.

Hmmmm either a nice glass of white wine, or a lady's measure of Glayva over plenty of ice.

Now theres an idea for my spare points :)

i love a tot of whisky and a lot of coke

after a cold day laid in mud trying to capture the local waders its something i really enjoy , that and seeing the mistakes i have made with exposure etc.:)

I am teetotal but I am not going to be excluded from this thread because of that :) .
Mine is a latte :D

Fosters..but I'm rather partial to a decent Pinot Noir!

Robin

15 yo Glen Fid - sometimes with a measure of Amaretto added :)

I'm in Spain so it's red wine for me. Lots of it. It's good for your health. They say it's good for the heart, good for the brain, full of antioxidants and good for your cholesterol - but by the time I've had a glass for all of these I can't focus anymore, so it must be bad for the eyes. Explains my poorly focused pics tho! :bang:

 I never drink gin, despite the rumours!

A laphroaig or a 12yr old Bowmore over ice for me [though can live without the ice if necessary], though as a hipflask filler for cold days out with camera I like a Jack Daniels.

One less good side affect of recent involvement in running our karate club is I have started drinking bottles of lager again, only the odd one in our 'after training' drink, but its quite strange for me... :cuckoo:

Turkish red wine for me at the moment. Takes a bit of getting used to and it's always better once you get halfway down the bottle

Ice cold magners for me !!
:thumbs::thumbs:

mmmmm good shout :thumbs:, or a nice chardonney or tiger beer or kingfisher or cobra or singa or jack daniels, shall i go on :lol::lol:

Used to be a selection of whatever Wychwood beers were in my fridge (hobgoblin normally), but I've stopped drinking alcohol for the time being so just water for me now

I am in the lucky position that I have a business that sells wine. That said I get to taste some AWFUL stuff. I have a case of good Bordeaux Superieur (Chateau Senailhac) in the house at the moment which is taking turnabout with a case of Saam Mountain South African Cabernet Sauvignon. They also do a great Chenin Blanc which is just sooo good for the money.

Wine is probably my favourite tipple and love when I can open the real old and interesting stuff. That must be with friends though.

Now for the plug - I have 2007 Cloudy Bay in stock if anyone is looking for any.:whistling:

You have a business that sells wine and you haven't organise a TP meet there!!! Shame on you!

A bunch of photographers let loose in a wine cellar? There's a good reason he hasn't invited us I think!! :-)

Another one here for the Red Wine, which then does odd things with the focus .

Jack Daniels and coke I think I'll go and get one now!

Quality German beer for me. Something like a Schneider Weisse Aventinus, or perhaps something from the Andechs brewery just outside Munich.

A nice bottle of Châteauneuf du Pape, or Chablis if I'm in the mood for white!

Although a nice malt, or a gin and bitter lemon, or even a nice pint of Guinness would suffice! :)

a nice glass or two of red...

I like chateaneuf.. but then who doesn't? I'm also partial to Wolf Blass... and also a wine i havent been able to get hold of since I stopped working for Bass... Chateau Carbonac.

We have just had one of our favourite tipples with our Egg, Chips (home-made) and Peas dinner (Jilly is a Veggie so I take whatever she is good enough to place my way ...) ... Vintage Champagne, Jose Ardinat 2002 ... although Pol Roger is our all time fave ... ;)

Although I have to say ... :suspect: ... not because I had been 'togging ... ... it's the usual Friday night sampler ... :D ... 'hic' ...

Great thread KoG ... ;)
