I have recently learnt the benefits of shooting with a reflector, but was wondering if it was to possible to attach a circular reflector to a stand and retain the functionality of angling it to suit your needs. I would then place and OCF infront of the reflector on another stand to bounce some light back onto the subject when a direct reflection from the sun is not available/feasible.

Any suggestions on such stand if it exists and thoughts on the technique would be a great help!

yes, you can buy them, they're about £25 for the arm iirc. calumet (check their ebay/amazon stores too) / viewfinder / others.

thanks guys, ive been looking into these and will report back on the one i settle for.

The Lencarta one has the advantage that it fits to the top of the light stand (doesn't clamp onto the tube) so is much quicker to adjust than some.
Cheaper too, as delivery is free

I was just looking for a way to balance my reflector also and had thought to use a guitar stand, but these are much better. That Lencarta looks just the ticket.

excellent links... thanks
