reel pinching film

Hi all,

new to processing black and white film, and i keep pinching the film or getting it clogged on the reel, any suggestions?

Are your reels totally dry? That's a very common cause. Could do with getting this shifted to the f&c section you'll get more replies there

I warm mine up with a hairdryer before loading and it really helps to avoid and sticking. Every time I forget to or skip it I curse myself for not doing so.

Are your reels totally dry? That's a very common cause.

^^^ what he said... even the teeniest bit of moisture can foul up the film when trying to load it... or loading it with the reel every so slightly at an angle screws mine up everytime.
