I got made redundant a few years back after 11 years and made the mistake of jumping at the first job that came my way 3half year later I have left that job and now looking for another so take your time but do ste your self a time limit to get a job that you want then just take any to keep the cash coming and only when you are seteled spend the cash.

Just keep smilling every cloud has a silver lining and all that

Thanks for the tip David. I'm actually waiting on some news after an interview I had last week. It's for a job that looks really good so you never know, I could get really lucky! Failing that, does anyone know of someone looking to hire an equine photographer on £50k a year? :D

Fabs,

I was a company for 8 years and left 2 1/2 years ago. I've done a couple of other jobs since then but I quite like what I'm doing now, although the pay isn't as good :'(

Finding a new employer is a full time job, get those CV's on the job boards and if possible, contact potential employers directly telling that you don't want to be out of work and you feel you can add value to their organisation. It'll save them loads in agency fees!

My only regret is that whenever I have decided to move jobs it's allways been in the winter so I've had no decent weather to get out with the camera....

Thanks Steve. The feelers are out so hopefully it won't take too long.

Go self-employed!

I'm unemployable :D and have worked for myself for the last 20 years......you'll never get rich working for someone else.
