After all the good reports about the redsnapper products I have bitten the bullet and ordered the 284 monopod with mini ball head and the 283 tripod with the 3way panning head.

Cant wait,

just a quick question to those who got the monopod (as someone who has never used one)
does it have like a foot pedal to stand on to hold it steady so you could do a long exposure.?

No, but there may well be something you can buy that attatches.
 
just recieved a redsnapper 284 tripod and 528 3 way head, well pleased with it. very sturdy and well made, delivered in super fast time.:thumbs:
just a quick note
if you are in the market for one, think about getting a spare quick release plate at the same time ( 1 for the camera and 1 for the long lens) its just cost me an extra £1.95 for postage :bonk: brian
