I don't know if many of you are aware that there is an image of the month competition running in the 'Customer Area' page on the Redsnapper site (www.redsnapperuk.com) with a great prize each month.
I'm looking for a December / Xmas image so you can either email me your jpeg or you can post it here.
Closing date needs to be 16th Dec so I can get the site updated and send the prize out before the Christmas break.
Open subject - Good Luck!
Joe

Hi is there a specific theme other than December/Christmas, does it have to be a Landscape, or can it be anything e.g. Studio.

Edit, Email a pic for the comp, couldn't post here as it is in the POTY comp this month on here so would have gone against the rules.

I'll have a go with this

Well done everyone.
Just bought both those prizes, good stuff.

A big well done to both Yv and Nigel :)
And what a generous prize!!

Well done guys, Both well deserved.

Thankyou all :)

I was quite cheeky and asked Joe if I could trade my tripod prize [as I already have 2 very good ones] for a monopod [as I only have a crappy one] and he was very happy to oblige.

So, having finally arrived home from work at about 11.30 this evening [long story for another day] there was a rather interesting looking bag of stuff. A Redsnapper monopod and a ballhead...and I have to say, on initial inspection and brief playing with the siggie 120-300 bolted to it, I am very very impressed. The twist lock leg is easy and quick to operate but also feels very secure and sturdy - my old one would start to collapse within a moment or two of resting anything a bit heavy on it. The ball head is a lovely piece of engineering and again, quick and easy to manipulate. Looking forward to trying this out in the 'wild' as soon as possible. Will perhaps do a full review when I have, but so far I am happy as a pig in mud :D Huge and many thanks Joe

You lucky thing Yv, me being stuck in the out back of nowhere with roads that have not been salted I have not seen hide nor hair of the post since the snow came... and since it rained and froze last night it is like an ice rink in my local area. Have not even tried to get the car out and ended up on my rear twice trying to get to the end of the road today.

Will have to wait for mine I guess....
