Where does it say that?

EDIT. hang on! have you already got the two??

Is there a little adapter inside the female bit on the head that you can unscrew?

Well they should both be 3/8 thread male/female OR (I havn't got the RSH-24 3) should be an adapter (1/4 to 3/8) to make it fit.
Suprised if it wasn't supplied with the head/tripod!
Can you post pics of the two fittings? I have some adapters knocking about in my kit.

LIKE THIS

When I received my monopod, the adapter was already screwed in and I couldn't for the life of me figure out why the head wouldn't screw on. Looked at it again and noticed a little notch to fit the screwdriver into, unscrewed it and the world was a happy place again.

Thats probably the only adapter I hav'nt got! You need 1/4 male to 3/8 female adapter. Did you get this from the Redsnapper site? If so, send him a PM and tell him (or send link to this thread) about the problem. He is very accomodating and I am sure he will help!

Are you sure that's supposed to come off?

Check if the adapter is in the tripod bag or in any of the other bits that came along with the tripod. It's a really tiny little thing.

...never mind .. been an absoulut turnip, the thread on the column unscrews and flips over

such a numpty...:D
