Red eye in a B&W pic

Forgive me if this is a too basic question.
I'm trying to correct a pupil flash reflection in a B&W pic (what would be redeye in a colour pic).

I'm using Elements 7 and trying figure the best way to make the eye look more natural. Any hints would be appreciated.

It's not an especially great photo but it's one I'm keen to keep.

There is no colour version - it was shot as B&W.

Dodge / Burn tools ? About the only thing I can suggest...........

(Or get the subject not to look straight into a flash shot in future.....)

I shoot in Raw so it makes my PP so much easier.

Shoot in colour then convert. as for the eyes on this shot. try a little contrast. should bring them back nicely.
