To cut a long and boring story short I have inadvertently deleted RAW files of images I took the other night. Can I recover these?
Heres the long boring bit: On Monday I went out to shoot the fireworks display at the end of the Edinburgh Festival, decided to try using RAW+JPEG. (this was my first attempt to use RAW) I initially put all my images onto my Mac via apples Photos program. I then use various image editing software packages to carry out any processing work. There is a tick box which says "Delete all images after Import" which I guess is there to stop your memory card being clogged up by stuff already imported. This was left ticked and Photos program only works with JPEG files so I can't import the RAW images into Affinity or Nik Collections like I would a JPEG from Photos. Will they be lurking somewhere not immediately obvious, retrievable with a little bit of digging maybe? Or are they gone forever? I've still got the JPEGs so it's not a massive deal, and the images aren't too hot anyway but 'd just like to know if there is a solution...
Just about to head out to carry out parental duties for the afternoon, so thanks in advance to anyone who can help!
