Hi people,

I was wondering if there was a piece of useful software out there that allows you to shoot with a cable from your camera to the computer and show you the shot instantly...I can do this already using Canons Digital Photo Professional (DPP) but I want to do certain things I don't think this software can do.

For starters, I would like a nice big image to come up at 100% by default (mine only comes up at 200% and you have to keep changing each image). I would also like it to come up for only a limited time or at least provide a quick method of closure (what I've found with DPP is that you can get each image to come up in a big screen but it will hold each one open in RAM so if you shoot 20 images you've got 20 images open on the system which obviously slows it down!). I would love it if you could also set it so that the custom highlight and shadow detail warnings automatically come up with each image (again, I have to set these for each image in DPP, very time consuming). And finally I would love a 'check sharpness' tool, like a magnifier floating around...sort of like the one you get in Bridge.

If anyone knows where I can get such a great piece of software I'd be very grateful if you could let me know.

Many thanks

Paul

I believe Phase one Capture one software does. Although I think it's limited to the Pro Version not the LE.

Hi, checkout breezesystems DSLR Remote Pro, you can download a trial version 15 days I think, works with Canon.
