so er...

guess this has been answered hundreds of times, but what books are recommended for someone with a basic grasp of photos to progress? im thinking of course of something covering the uses of digital camera controls and thier uses & effects (compacts mainly). ive heard that 'the digital photography book' by scott kelby is good, but thought it best to ask here for recommendations :)

cheers everone

Again, I've just bought 'Understanding Exposure'. It's a very easy read and quite enlightening! See what I did there?

i have that the digital photography book, its helping me out so far, alot of good tips and its like hes there with you every step of the way, he goes on abit *** with his sarcastic sence of humar but all in all a good read the great thing about it is, you dont have to read it page to page. just read the first chapter and then after that its set in to diffrent parts. so say your out on a shot see a nice flower wondering what the best angle and setting to use is, go to that page in the book have a read and shot away.
