Hello all,

Finally got a copy of Elements 6 and slowly making my way up the learning curve. I have a few issues of Digital Photo magazine with some helpful tutorials, but I could do with a decent book to guide me. Looking on Amazon, I like the sound of "Elements 6 Maximum Performance" by Mark Galer - it includes a DVD with video guides, sample pics, etc. Does anyone have this book and what do they think of it? Or is there any other book(s) I should consider.

I've got a copy of Scott Kelby's Elements 4 book & found it very useful but I would imagine a DVD could prove extra helpful, as long as it shows more than the basics.

I have a couple of Scott Kelby books,(CS3 and ELEMENTS 5) i find them very very easy to understand without the need for a video tutorial, if you can get over his silly sense of humour and concentrate on his tuition they are really great books, or you could try "Digital Photo Mag" comes out once a month and always includes a cd rom with video tutorials for adobe and other programs, i've collected some very good tutorials from this mag over the last couple of years, HTH
