Me and 4 other peeps are planning for a 2 night stay in the Peak District next May. We are looking for a 3 bedroom cottage in the middle of nowhere for the opportunity of walks and taking photographs.

Do any of you kind folks have any recommendations of places to rent?

Thanks in advance for your help

Hi Nigel

I can't suggest a specific cottage but for a suggestion of an area, we always head in the vicinity of Castleton/Edale. There are plenty of walks round there and the scenery is beautiful.

Staffordshire Moorlands is on the edge of the Peak District. The roaches , Luds Church, Tittesworth Reservoir and the 3 Shire heads all close by

Not a three bedroom, but two cottages next to each other with a total of three bedrooms...

Very comfy, right at the edge of Hope Valley which is perfect for walking. We stayed in the larger of the two and it was very pleasant.

wriggly tin right on the Monsol trail is pretty nice

(note to self - must get 'round to correctly tagging the photographs...)

bah, I've got a load of timelapse stock that I shot when I stayed there for a week, need to do something with it!

Nope, but I know several in Pembrokeshire, equally beautiful part of the country ;)
