Recommendations for replacing my G7X MkII?

Hi all,

I'm seriously thinking of selling on my G7X MkII.
I don't know why but I'm just not getting on with it. There's no single specific thing I can put my finger on but I just find it a bit of a "hassle" to use. I think the main issue is so many menu options and much of it not intuitive.

I know I'm missing out on shots as I'm not taking it out with me.

So I'd like to spend c.£500-600 on something new.
I like the touch screen and the tilt is helpful but not essential.

I think I miss using a viewfinder too, but then wonder if it's a bit odd to use one on a compact anyway?

It must have manual controls and must be pocketable.
Video is not important.

Open to suggestions, new or used please?

Thanks. That was a consideration when I bought it (mk III). Will look into them again.
 
Just been looking at the Sony A6000.
This seems like a decent option and looks like a good step up (albeit a slightly bigger camera)...
*edit - I bought one today! :)
