Recommend me a lens

Hi!

I used to be very into photography but honestly I wouldn't have a clue what I'm talking about now! I would like to get back into it though... I am mainly interested in equestrian photography.

I have a Canon EOS 400D, Canon 90-300mm zoom lens and the 18-55mm standard lens. In the past I have been lucky enough to used the Sigma 70-200mm f2.8 lens.

I would happily sell/trade my lens' but have no idea what they are worth. I loved how sharp the photos were with the 70-200mm. I don't really have much to spend at all.

So...what would you suggest?

Sounds like the 70-200 f4 might be good for you, perhaps selling the 90-300mm to help fund it (not sure either how much this is worth).
