Recommend me a cheap action camera

I need an action camera for a project I have coming up. Top quality isn't a requirement but the following are

  1. Must be able to do slow motion - let's say 120 fps
  2. Must have tripod thread or be easily/cheaply adaptable to be able to screw onto a mini tripod
  3. Must be splashproof (not necessarily waterproof but it's going to be used around mud probably in light drizzle)
  4. Needs to be "pretty small"
  5. Removable card or USB use with a Mac
  6. Self powered - nothing mains powered
  7. Cheap
Any ideas? My head is hurting after an hour on eBay and Google.
 
The xiaomi YI for about £50 which is a good saving over the gopro.

I've just bought a Mobius. Not sure if it's waterproof or not, but it's tidgy and fits the bill :)

Yeah a lot of the action cams fall down on mounts. They are good for head mounting but terrible at attaching to a tripod.

No. I have a Z3 which is actually waterproof but it's a little pricey to leave in a field of mud close to the action ;)

Ooo one of those looks like a winner. If the Yi lets me start/stop it via a wifi app then I'll get that. Otherwise it looks like a Mobius.
 
I've a colleague with a SJCam SJ4000 that he uses for kayaking and the video is exceptional for a 50 quid gadget.

I've been tempted by the Git2 cam for around £100, although no longer available on Amazon UK and don't really want to import direct from China. The specification and published videos and stills are first rate.

Edit - appears it can now be ordered from Amazon UK again.

I have the SJCAM as well and it's simply stunning for the money!.use it as a dashcam daily and then on the helmet for quadbiking etc.waterproof for holidays and lots of extras for 50 quid.get it genuine from Amazon as there is a lot of copies of a GoPro copy!
