i was looking at leads to connect an ipod, but prices just seem a little too much.

i had a radio connection thing before but have misplaced it and thought i would replace it with one with an inbuilt charger to charge the ipod at the same time.

any recommendations?

griffin(?) do an iTrip with a built in charger, we got the generic (3.5mm plug as uposed to the ipod link) for suzies car and it seems pretty good. fairly pricey though really, compared to the £8 which whilst it doesnt charge the ipod did a sterling job

I have the griffin iTrip and the quality is absolutely rubbish - rubbish in the mini cooper s, the mitsi shogun, signum and evo ix (no I dont have all those cars now).

Try the Monster one. I got mine in the USA before they were legal over here. That was in 2005. They sell them now in the UK for about £50.00. Great quality.

Chris :)

I have a belkin adaptor for the car but didn't go for a charging one - already have a car charger for iPhone. The quality is OK but find it shocking on the motorway (when I want to use it the most)

iWorld use to have a very good selection at alright prices - maybe worth trying there.
