Recommend a VHS to digital transfer service?

I've got one commercial tape I want to convert to mp4 or similar for personal use. Any suggestions?

If by commercial you mean copyright etc this probably no good, but I used http://www.dvdcopyingdirect.co.uk to copy 3 VHS tapes to DVD a year ago and they were fine - took a long time but they tell you that in advance.

I'd have to buy a VHS player too. Scarcely worth the effort for one tape when I could just bung it in the post.

Try a charity shop, vhs player for a tenner.. it was the only place we could get one when our last bought-new player died.
