Yes
I have been using a Logitech wireless mouse for years but its recently been doubling and trebble clicking on stuff and its doing my head in.

Time for a new mouse, I know lots of people use graphics tablets etc but I tried them and prefer a mouse

So can anyone please recommend a good mouse for my photo work ?

I see they mention DPI on lots of them, is that important ? and I also see some of the expensive mouses are cabled not wireless is that an advantage as my mouse is wireless

DPI is very important, it determines how much physical movement you need to move the mouse to actually move the pointer across the screen, the higher the DPI the better, you can always adjust it in the mouse properties in control panel

Thanks, yeah I have been reading on other forums were people recommend adjustable DPI. I am off to the shops now so will take a look around.

I was in the same boat as you, tried the tablets a few times and just kept going back to a mouse - ended up buying a RAT 3 (lots of adjustable settings) and have even bought another to keep just in case this one dies on me.

Amazon have them as well as PC world etc HERE did look at the rat 5 & 9 as well but to be honest the settings on the 3 were more than enough for what I use and very comfortable to use for long periods of time

I have tried the RAT 3 at PC world and it felt good... but no stock

I will order on online

thank you for the recommendations

Logitech Darkfield Performance MX.

First one just became unreliable at dragging after 3 years of heavy use. Without hesitation I bought another.

Been using a RAT 7 for about a year now and can highly recommend it and the other wired RATs! Have used quite a few expensive mice over the years and the RAT has been the best by far!

I swear by a M110 (wired), mind you it is expensive at £2 from Tesco!

Logitech MX518, fits in the hand nice and copes very well with long PS sessions, also pretty good for gaming sessions.

Using a microsoft mouse at the moment I had lying around (wireless) and feels terrible compared to my old Logitech that is now totally dead

Well just an update, I got the RAT3 mouse and also the Glide 7 gaming mousemat that goes with it.

Online there was an offer for both at £35 so I mentioned this at PC world (where the mouse was £30 and the mousemat £20) and they sold me both for £40 so happy with that.

The result is excellent so far, lovely smooth action and a pleasure to use
