As above basically, who do you all use for your canvas prints, i use DSCL for my normal prints and i'm happy with them, does anyone have any experience with them for canvas ? i'm looking for a really decent canvas printer with reasonable rates, many thanks :)

Honestly don't know if this will meet your needs, but I just had a really nice canvas from http://www.xxlpix.net.

They had / have a special offer on at the moment where it's £29 for a 90cm x 60cm canvas (works out at £45 inc del and vat). They are produced in Germany and mine took a week to get here (ordered 9pm Friday night, delivered midday the following Friday) but I'm very happy with the quality, and my wife thought it looked fantastic - but I pay her to say that anyway.

:)

Thanks Nick i will take a look, anyone else, i thought this thread would have been inundated :D

The best by far (imo) is Oxford Imaging, and if you search for them on here you will only see good things about them. Great service and very good canvases too!

For best quality, both in printing and durability, I recommend Loxley. Printed on photographic paper, laminated, then bonded onto canvas in the traditional way - but expensive!

Unfortunately my customers do not want to pay the prices I have to charge if I use Loxley so these days, I mostly use http://www.procanvas.co.uk/

Chris.

procanvas.co.uk - £8.50 for delivery is pretty extortionate; moreso considering their prices are ex VAT and not exactly great without the VAT....

If price is more important than quality then of course there are cheaper but those I have tried I would not consider 'a really decent canvas printer'.

I often read in threads about canvas suppliers "ok for the price". What is the point in compromising on quality for the sake of a few quid. Sure Procanvas are not the cheapest but I have found them consistantly good which is MY No1 priority.

My motto is:

"Enjoy the quality long after you have forgotten the price"

....and if the product is for a customer, raise your price to cover the cost of a good supplier.
