Hi
Thought it would b good to list any good books you've read recently and would recommend other members to read.

My recommendation is
Scott Kelby Adobe Photoshop Lightroom 4
Discovering loads of easier ways yo complete tasks in LR4 now thanks to this easy to read book.

Anyone else any good finds, please share

The Photographer's Vision by Michael Freeman. In fact the other three of Michael Freeman's recent books (The Photographer's Mind / Eye / Story) are also excellent, if you've moved past wanting to read about the usual topics - exposure, landscapes, portraits, composition, DSLR's, Photoshop, etc.

Errrrr, it quite clearly isn't a good book for you, but perhaps the original poster didn't have you in mind when he suggested this........?

Do you have any books to recommend?

Doubt one of them would be "How to win friends and influence people"

The Moment It Clicks by Joe Mcnally is a good read

Hmmm...
The title below your user name appears to be quite apt.

For anyone who is a beginner, (this doesn't include Lynton - who appears to know more than enough to have to read books) I highly recommend "Understanding Exposure" by Bryan Peterson

Was there really any need for that Lynton? What a way to welcome a new member :nono:

Understanding Exposure by Bryan Peterson is often recommended as excellent reading :)

Ahhhh, yes, Joe McNally.... I've got all his books and the newest DVD... They're absolutely brilliant! he's a great story teller for what was behind his shots...

Examples: the making of 40 photographs: Ansel Adams. Very interesting not just his big wild landscape shots.

Cheers all
I think we're getting the ball rolling now.
I'm hoping there are kindle editions of all the books recommended as I like the try before you buy aspect and the ease of bookmarks.

Thanks for the responses - keep em coming
