Dear photog peeps.

As the nights are drawing in I though it might me a good idea to play around indoors (oo-er missus) with a tripod, various film cameras (35mm) and some Kentmere 400 I have knocking around.

Previously I have done some longish exposure work using DSLR (8 seconds - 20 seconds) with good results.

I want to do the same but this time using film. Do I need to worry about reciprocity failure at these shutter speeds.? Do I need to compensate with adding a stop or two?

Cheers

Yes. Yes.

More seriously, yeah you'll be well into reciprocity at 8s for all but Acros. I've never looked but you might be able to find a reciprocity chart for Kentmere on the web, start on their site, other wise you're in undocumented territory and you'll just need to bracket till you get the balance.
