I had a wander with my daughter, around Liverpool to try and do a bit of a photoshoot with her, with my manual focus 7.5mm fisheye.
I stayed at F2.8 the whole time.
As much as I tried to keep her face in the centre of the screen, and used a lot of low shooting techniques, to extenuate the legs, shooting off her toecap and upwards, I just couldn’t seem to nail the shot. Her face was too high in the frame. They look terrible, mis-placed focus and just crap!
I watched a YouTube clip of a guy and model around Canary Wharf, and the models poses and his angle of shots were my inspiration. His were great, mine terrible.
I’d even screenshot the video of the poses etc so I could copy them.
Lots more practice needed I guess.
