Received a Photo Credit for one of my pictures

Now I know that this may seem trivial for some (as there are many more accomplished and recognised photographers on here) and I know it may seem daft to get so excited (especially as I have had a couple of photos in the press and magazines). However today I was tagged in a photo that I took at the weekend whilst I was at Yorkshire Wildlife Park. Having posted my photos to their Flickr group they deemed that one of my photos was good enough to share (despite there being many other photographers there with 1DX2 and high level prime telephotos (made my A7rii and 100-400 look like a toy). Anyway this was the photo they selected along with a link to their post and kind words.

and this one got selected for their Image of Distinction group, All in all a very good day for me :D

Well done Chris, well deserved!.They do like it up on those hills and it helps avoid getting the masses in the backgrounds!

I know, for me if Sony could combine the IQ &resolution of the rii with the af system and zero blackout of the A9, that would be eutopia (not bothered by the 20fps as that just means there’s more to sort through in pp)

Yup, an a9r would be amazing. Kinda what I'm waiting for if I'm spending so much. Let's see what 2018 brings.

Pfff. What do looks matter. Insane sensor on the A7R2, the 100-400 is top IQ, just a little slow. I'd be feeling smug about how much lighter and smaller your rig is than theirs :D

Strangely that's exactly what was running through my mind. For the first time I pitied them rather than envied them :)
