I bought this used via the Classifieds a short while back, which was lucky because it's not cheap new.. Today I got round to reviewing it in the hope that it'll help a few members who might be considering splashing the cash on it.

I did cop a glance at the brand last week in LHR T5 and its very impressive. :thumbs:

Good review but being a X100 owner myself it's left me slightly confused, in your review you mention that if you are using a tripod you will need at the very least a base plate, surely there's a tripod thread on the underside of the camera ?

Yes, there is a tripod head but I'm assuming most people nowadays use a tripod head with a quick release system rather than screwing the camera directly to the tripod. :D The base plate is a quick release plate. I probably should have worded that better. Sorry for any confusion.
