Really glad I joined...a little story

I have a friend who I met through business many years ago now and I was blathering on his facebook page, when one of his friends suggested that I join here, so willing to try any forum once (well almost any) I joined up.

Since joining, I've had people help me choose lenses properly, advise me on good books to read, answer lighting questions, backdrop questions and other things too.

I just want to say how grateful I am to everyone who has welcomed me and to all of those who have helped me.

It really is appriciated.

Seriously, this place really has helped me to develop skills, buy equipment and point me in the right directions. With out it, i dont think id be the photographer i am today

I have to agree, I think this site has done wonders for me. I don't think I'd have improved half as much as I have without it.
