Really daft Q: Lightroom 4 - Box?

My lightroom trial has expired and after comparing with viewnx. iPhoto and contemplating aperture, I have decided I miss it enough to invest in a licence.

Would I be missing out on anything by buying a licence key online from adobe. Does the retail box of lr4 contain anything beyond physical media?

Yep, a lot of box with a cd in it. Just by the license and burn yourself the downloaded file, quicker and the same result.

Before you buy on line shop around! I've not looked into it but as daft as it sounds it can be cheaper to buy some Adobe software from a retailer rather than buy a serial code direct from them.

It might not be but its worth a shot if it saves a few quid!

Word of caution - only buy from a reputable source though!

Yep and stupidly it's cheaper to buy the boxed product then a download from Adobe. I know that's cause the download servers in Ireland and the VAT is higher, but really sort it out anyway Adobe
