Hi, just wondered if anyone can recommend any suppliers or brands of good quality ready-made frames?

Are they quality looking? I'm wary of buying online as you can't see how good they are

We sell quite a lot of custom sized frames via ebay and our web site, people can't actually touch them until they are deliverd
but to date, we've never had one returned.

I've been looking round the shops local to us, specialist framing shops and photography shops etc, and almost all of the ready-made frames that i have seen look cheap, flimsy or just plain ugly and they never come with the monts that i want so i'd have to buy those seperately. They aren't that cheap either, £20-£30 for a 16x20 (although i could get them cheaper wholesale). In the end I went into a professional framers to see how much bespoke frames cost and they have quoted me £30-£35 for a 16x20 if i order 4 at a time, and they can do the backs so that i can open them and put my prints in myself. I didn't think that was too bad!
