Hi i am in need of some rechargable batteries for my speedlites, i remember some time back, someone did a comparison test amongst various makes, but am unable to find said thread, what do you recomend? or should i just go for enaloops ?

Someone mentioned asda/walmart were selling them cheap but I never found them. I use the ansmann and have never had any issues with them but other swear by eneloops. You can get ansmann 2700ma aa batteries for around £6 for 4 or the 2850ma ones for £9. Get a proper charger for them though, same with the others.

I got some aaa enelopes from Asda when they were reduced. Might just have been lucky. OP as suggested by Byker I remember reading the article and it was the ansmann ones.

According to a survey conducted by which (consumer magazine) the best ones are the following:

Energizer Accu recharge 2650
Maplin Extra-High Capacity N05BW 2500 mAh
Energizer Accu recharge 2450 mAh

I followed which advice many a times on different products and i must say that I am glad i did

Hope this help

Thank you for the prompt replies,Byker Kev and Bruno very helpfull

I'm using eneloops and 7 day shop good to go batteries. I can't see a great deal of difference between them.

Energizer Accu recharge 2650
