Been looking for a nifty fifty round Manchester for 3 days! Noone has them in stock!

Just unwrapped my nifty and took it out the front door. This is what I got. Very happy with my cheapest lens to date!

A few nifty (fifty!) shots which I took on the first day I owned an SLR. :love:

Btw, I know that 'bokeh' means out of focus dots of light but with the third picture, they're pentagons, not circles. What's the difference?

The shape of the bokeh is dictated by the number of aperture blades. The Canon f/1.8 has 5 blades and so gives a pentagon shaped bokeh, the f/1.4 had 8 blades, which makes it look more circular but is actually octagonal. I believe the f/1.2 has 9 blades and so gives even smoother bokeh.
