Ex England and Chelsea footballer has been reported as critical in hospital after a heart attack.

A great favourite of mine at Chelsea when I was a season ticket holder.
 
Just read that too, apparently he's not been particularly well for a number of years but 61 is no age at all. I enjoyed watching him in his prime and he seemed a really decent bloke off pitch too.
Here's hoping he pulls through.
 
He was called The Crab when he played at QPR, because he always passed sideways.

Good player and a great captain at Rangers who really inspired the team. A very decent guy off the pitch too from all accounts. I hope he recovers from this. :(

At the risk of speaking ill of the dead he was done for drink driving 3 times - https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news...aller-ray-wilkins-sentenced-for-drink-driving - so decent guy off the field is questionable, when you look at some of the anger on the Ant & Dec thread.
