raw with thumbnails

Hi all i have always shot in jpeg and have recently tried raw with adobe cs3. i think it is really a brilliant way of starting the manipulation of my images. I have a problem though in that i take loads of images and would like to see a thumbnail before the slower process of loading each image up. as i am poor i cannot afford new software so am looking for a freebie or does adobe have an add on that does this job. in case i haven't described my issue properly, when i download my raw images is there a software that lets me see what that image is like prior to opening it up in cs3? cheers guys and keep up this great site. rob

Photoshop Elements 9 around £60

I use it its a good editing suite for us Poor people

Bridge should open them if cs3 is opening them, failing that download free "instant jpeg from raw", it extracts the built in joeg, it's really quick and you get a decent size jpeg as a bonus, you do have to give your email but I have never had any junk mail from them.

I would recommend Faststone viewer. This has lots of useful functions including the ability to view and print thumbnails of RAW files.
