RAW to jpeg.. What's the best way of converting RAW to jpeg!

I am using CS4 RAW interface to edit my RAW files, but then what is the best way:

1. Open files in photoshop and save them there.

2. Save files in the RAW interface, then re-open in photoshop if needed?

3. Or it doesn't matter!
 
Are you actually editing them in camera raw or just converting to jpeg ?
 
I edit with the camera RAW plug-in then on the bottom left it says save image. BOOM-TING job done

Actually i do some editing in RAW, then continue editing in photoshop... My concern is to get maximum quality!

Guess it was posted from an iPhone - NSFW seems to be the default setting and it isn't obvious how to change it - thread here
