I've just shot 200+ pics in RAW (Nikon NEF) by mistake, I need them as jpegs. Am I right in thinking the only way to do it is via the Image Processor from Scripts in CS3? I've done it before this way but seems to take forever!

Any ideas folks?

If they are all keepers, then you would be best to do it as you normally do, however, if you just want to a Jpeg to check which to seriously edit, then you could use a program called Preview Extractor, which extracts the Basic embedded Jpeg that is in the RAW file. You would still convert from the RAW to get the best quality image, as it is just a Basic Jpeg.

I use this rather than Adobe Bridge to be able to see the image full size via the in built Window$ Picture and Fax Viewer. It normally takes less than a minute depending on the complexity of the image and the number of files. ;)

You can do them in ACR (Adobe Camera Raw) Select the files in Bridge then ctrl/r to open them in ACR do you adjustments then export them out in the format you require, it will be quicker than using Image Processor.
