Raw To J-Peg

Hi, I have a Canon EOS40D Camera with all the bundled software and Have just started to shoot in Raw which I hope will be better than shooting in J-Peg but I have a couple of Questions if I may?
What is the best (quickest) way of converting single photos from Raw to J-peg? Digital Photo Pro (canon) only seems to be able to convert batches .
I know I am probably missing something but would appreciate any help /advice on quickly converting a single shot please?
Are there any good third party applications that can do this in a simple way?
I do have photoshop cs3 and lightroom although I am not very familier with them yet.

DPP will do individual files as well, so will Lightroom and CS3

You can find some converters in my sig.
I found that it's usually the manufacturer's own tools that give best results with their cameras, except for Olympus.

I'm not a Canon user, so I don't have it installed at the moment, but if you bump it tomorrow, you could find someone. Maybe changing the thread's name to reflect the request would be appropriate.

I don't have DPP installed. I'm trying to move over to Aperture.

In DPP edit the selected image as you would normally and then choose:

File > Convert and Save...

from the menu. Job done
