When editing a RAW image in the ACR window, if I select the brush tool to make some adjustments to part of the image, a new "control" screen for a better word pops up where I have all the sliders accessible to me for the various adjustment options.

What often happens is that values have been put into many of the settings sliders, and there appears to be no clear all selection as the Clear button is greyed out.

This means I have to go through and zero all the sliders before starting any adjustments with a new brush

Is this right - is there a quick way to zero the sliders

thanks

The Adjustment Brush and Graduated Filter sliders stay in the last position you left them in. You can double click on the individual slider to reset that, or click the little circle next to a slider, which will reset all the sliders, but will move the slider next to the circle you clicked. Easier to do than to explain. ;)
