I was shooting a baby shower tonite & I show in RAW form for the very first time. I was planning on using the photos in a slideshow but when i do they don't look as good as they do when I open them up and look at them individually. I am using iDVD on my Mac and when I bring them into the program they look sort of pixelated.

Is there a way to change them to jpg or fix the photos without doing to much work?

All RAW files need some sort of processing, even if it's just a sharpen. So you will probably have to edit them all. As for the rest of your problem, I'm not sure as I am a PC user, so I'm not farmiliar with the set up you mention. I'm sure someone will be along shortly to help you better :)

I know nothin about Macs but its pretty obvious that if you have used the raw files for a slide show then it is using the small embeded jpeg preveiw file that is used for veiwing the image on your camera lcd screen, hence the pixalation. you will need to convert them to jpeg before using them for a slide show.:)

UgH! Ok, thanks for the insight.

I gotta remember that for when I have a bunch of photos becuz this will just extend the project time.

It may well extend it but I wouldn't ever shoot JPEG unless I was a) low on space and not able to get another card b) really needed an 80+ burst

You can recover so much more from a RAW image.
