RAW files corrupt on iMac

Hi
looking for some help please.When i try to upload RAW files on my iMac they are all corrupt with horizontal pink lines through them.When i upload JPG files they are fine.I would love if someone could help please.This happens in lightroom as well as elements and google nik.Thank you

What are you using to view the raw files. Which camera?
Are you using an Adobe product? Do you have the latest raw convertor?

Hi Ben files are fine for a second then you see them go corrupt right in front of your eyes.I just downloaded laters DNG Converter but no good.

Sounds like a faulty card to me as well. I don't know Nikon kit but as others have asked are you using a camera with dual cards ?
 
What have you used to transfer the images to your iMac? I've heard similar before relating to card reader problems. Could you try downloading them directly with a cable from your camera and see if that helps.

Using the cable sorted it Ben i think you will see me with other stupid posts as am a beginner.Im going up the Fairy Pools on the Isle Of Skye the moorland again thanks for the help.
