Have noticed this for a long time, Aperture automatically applying this RAW BOOST/HUE BOOST upon import, as if it is using its own Raw control. It looks like The Simpsons!!
You can turn down any boost or hue setting in the raw import converter, not on my mac at the moment, but I know I changed the default a long time ago, and now it's spot on.
Thanks man, I know how to adjust it but I don't want to do it manually and I would cry if I had to move over to LR for something simple. I can't deal with those colours though!

I find the organisation and cataloguing of Aperture to be much superior with its Projects/Folders/Albums. Plus the Photostream from my iOS devices/iCloud improves stuff from my snapshots on those devices.
I've never used Aperture, but something like this would be simple to fix in LR - just change the default parameters it uses.
Then again, after my experiences with Apple, I wouldn't be at all surprised if you couldn't change the defaults. After all, they know what their users want better than their users do.
OK had a look on my system, and its VERY simple to sort out.
Just go to the RAW Fine Tuning tab and make your setting adjustments, as soon as you change anything the "Save as Preset" will be enabled, just save with a new name then Save as Camera Default
