Hi,

I was at a friend's recently and he showed me some image editing on Nikon's Capture editing software. He saved t5he edited raws on my SD card, with the originals.
Now it seems I can't transfer them to jpeg on my computer, using the trial version of Capture.

Any suggestions?

If you are using Capture NX-D or View NX2 simply click on the file(s) you want to convert then click on the File menu and click on Convert Files. Make sure that JPEG is selected and choose the quality setting and where you want the converted files to go.

Tried this, and for edited raws that have been saved as raws (and not the raws from the camera), it doesn't work. It works for raws that are straight off the camera, though.
Equally, I can't save raw edits.Only JPEGs.
 
What did your friend use to edit the NEF files, Capture NX-D, View NX2 or Capture NX2?
What are you using to save the NEF files as JPEGs
