I tried a few test raw conversions using dpp and adobe camera raw on some canon 5dmkii raws.
I much preferred the image created by acr but unfortunately my system is not powerful enough to use it consistently as I get frequent zoom freeze and inability to refresh changes.
I am therefore forced for now to keep using dpp.
I would be grateful for any tips advice from any canon shooters using dpp specifically interns of;
Sharpening
Noise reduction
Lens adjustments
I normally do a batch conversion using dpp and then make any final adjustments in photoshop cs6.
I also have the noise ninja plugin in cs6 and have installed the profile for my canon 5dmkii so I also wonder if I should do no noise reduction in dpp and just use that.
Any guidance or help appreciated.
