I'm just starting out taking a few photos in Raw, previously everything has been jpeg. I'm using a Canon 450d and aperture 3.
I'm just wondering when I import my RAW photos into aperture is any of the adjustments I made onboard the camera applied to the image, e.g if I changed the white balance/exposure compensation on the camera would that white balance/exposure compensation setting be used on the image in aperture or would I have to add it in manually through aperture.
I guess what i'm trying to say is do you have to post process every image even if they were 100% perfect when you shot them? or is it more to make adjustments if the image is not 100% perfect.
Hope you don't think i'm :cuckoo:

As far as I am aware RAW is something that needs to be processed with photoshop etc. JPEG is procesed in camera.

I'm not an Aperture user (I use Lightroom) but this should be the same for both

WB - yes
Exposure Compensation - yes

Picture Styles (e.g. 'Faithful', 'Landscape') - no

Sharpening would be at Aperture's defaults. The camera only sharpens JPEG images.
