Why on earth is it illegal to shoot at hot air balloons flying low over residential areas at dawn?

thats a very good point Blue. Maybe the noise disturbs people at dawn, maybe thats why its banned...

Personally, I think old people should have driving tests at 50 and over, this would prevent them driving crap and hitting the back of other cars, like Focii turning right, for example...
 
Why is it that teachers spend the entire year forcing rules & consideration for others down the necks of the nations teenagers.
The minute they break up for the summer hols they then revert to teenagers themselves, staying up late midweek, drinking on the patio & basically being loud till the small hours of the morning even though theyre well aware that everyone else is still having to work.
Oh looky here, Ive just described my neighbours!!! :annoyed:

My wifes a teacher :razz:

I can can tell you she is noisey, rude and drunk most nights of there year !! ;)

Why do people think that 50 is old? :nono: I bet they won't when they are 50. Well, I don't anyway. :lol:

No... the annual driving test should be for people aged 17-30 who cause far more accidents than the over-fifties. ;) Maybe if they calmed down and took a bit more care they would also pay less than £200 in insurance? :wave:
 
MOBILE PHONES BEING USED IN QUIET PUBLIC PLACES - Why do people have to talk so loudly on their mobiles when in quiet and enclosed places, ie, on the bus, train, etc. It's so bl**dy annoying!

LOL. Well said Silky. I see crap drivers of all ages, but the fact is insurance companies reduce premiums substantially for older drivers, even on performance cars, and they base their premiums on hard facts not sentiment - lots of younger drivers are a risk, so they pay more. :shrug:

#Middle lane hogs
#Anyone in a 4x4 that doesn't live/work on a farm
#School-run mums (with or without 4x4)
#Chavs in Chicken Paxos that want to race in 30mph limits
#Magic windscreens as fitted to BMW/Merc repmobiles and, or course, Transits that allow the driver to sit 2 inches from your bumper at *any* speed and in *any* weather conditions
#People who brake for absolutely no reason
#People who drive whilst on their mobile
#Real traffic policemen being replaced by cash machines
#People who are so f******g inconsiderate in Supermarket carparks they feel the need to give you a door ding, or better still reverse into you and then drive off without leaving a note

i had a similar experience with zurich :bang:

why do housemates not cook for themselves, not clean up after i cook for them and leave their mess everywhere for me to clean up. I AM NOT THEIR MOTHER! grrr
 
Brown nosers who stitch you up like kipper and drop you so far in the sh*te, then they screw something up and expect you to dig their sorry fat a**e out of it.

Drivers who attempt to drive and talk on their mobiles.
Drivers who push in without saying thank you.
Drivers who drive with their front and rear fog lights on when there is plainly no fog.
Parents with uncontrollable kids out in public, (have they not heard of discipline)

People who talk on their cell phones in the damn grocery store. What the hell is that all about? You can't leave the house for an hour without talking on the phone? Get a realilty check people, it's not that important! Why not talk to your children who are lagging behind you that your completely ignoring! :razz:

One time a lady was on the phone and I just started to answer her as if she was talking to me. She looked at me like I had three heads, but got the point and hung up. :lol: I have no patients for **** like that and make it known to people in stores. :lol:

People who can't live without gadgets period are needy, needy people imo! :p :D

Have to say last time I had a problem Direct Line were faultless. Transit driver went in the back of me when I stopped at a crossing. Direct Line had my car collected and rental delivered....my car fixed and back within a week. Not a penny cost to me and no forms just a couple of phone calls.

btw. Accident tip - assuming its not your fault and damage only, ignore the other driver and go get the name and address of a witness first...makes life easier afterwards :)

Rant? Driving with a phone is up there. My local councils obsession with speed humps and 20mph limits (including some major roads). Cycle lanes that are a waste of effort as its safer to cycle in the road.

buses in general, that puill out inot oncoming traffic. ff sake! even worse when you're the one on the bike. bike + rider = 75-80kg, bus = several tons.
when handing out licenses to weild deadly machinery please can somebody take care who they hand them to.
