We all know about primes, telephoto zooms etc but does anyone use or has used anything a bit different or odd?

I'm quite interested in this topic after seeing some fish eye pics posted on here the other day where they created a circle image, and wondered if anyone else uses something weird and wonderful to produce out of the ordinary images?

Not something that I've done (firstly because I don't have an iphone or similar), but one of my nephews dropped a bead of water onto his iphone camera lens to get a macro shot.

Any camera. The physics of optics doesn't change because you have a CCD. I have had 10:1 before now with a reverse mounted 28mm on extension tubes on a d5100. Very tricky shot though!

Just had a go at hand-hold reversing an old 50mm lens in front of my (conventionally mounted) 28-135mm to get this shot of a two pence piece - depth of field and an unsteady hand made the focal point a bit of a gamble :D:

Taken with the reverse mounted 28mm directly on the d5100 body using a £5 adapter ring. It's about 4:1 magnification of a spider head. Could be a lot better, but I am just learning!

Spacester, I think that photo will haunt me in my sleep lol

Nice capture though :)
