Cool, great course with very good industry ties. I'm not on it but have some strong links with friends across a range of courses there. The following isn't gospel, but certainly seems to be what they're after after speaking to them etc....
Rave seem to place very high emphasis on what you've -done- and can demonstrate at interview - their offers are even often quite low in terms of grades.
Because they have such a vocational approach - they really seem to be after seeing that you've done original, self-starting stuff - the broadcasting courses are seeing a lot of people who've worked heavily on making good youtube content, for example. Theyee not after technical excellence so much as good ideas, and a real evident commitment to the media.
So get busy if you aren't already !

start a student tv station at your school, make a short documentary about something that interests you or is quirky or different, ask your local paper if you can have some work experience ,(and keep up that relationship and doing bits for them after the formal period is over) especially if they produce any web video, etcetcetc.
Good luck, rave is a great place
