Rainy day photography ideas (Indoors)

Not that I am a fair weather photographer but i do enjoy taking pics after the kids have gone to bed, I sometimes find difficult to get the creative juices flowing.

Any Ideas welcome? Examples maybe?

Yeah think I might do some of the old drops again, done smoke too.

Have a look at trick photography ads on the net.There's some pretty neat light painting techniques to be done using slow shutter speed and maglites etc.Might spark an interest for you.
