A local business here in Ashby de la Zouch is arranging a charity calendar, and has asked that ladies of other local businesses take part.

What I need is, ideas for our business! :D

The local bakery are using their wares (ie, big baps) in their image. The pub next door is using the pumps to cover the barmaids modesty etc etc... you get the idea!

Now, I work for an accountants. Boring!!!! Our initial idea was to get our hair done 1920's stylee, and use big old fashioned telephones and an abacus or something? We obviously suck at ideas :lol:

Who has a better plan? Cant be too rude ;)
 
Accountants hmm...do they have any of them machines you see in the films...that constantly spew out things on what looks like a receipt roll? Just remembered...a ticker tape machine :lol:

Wrapped up in some of that might look good!

What about using angle-poise desk lamps to cover up your modesty?

Put your own spin on the office photocopier cliche?

A shot where you have thrown loads of reciepts in the air with a difiant look on your faces and they are floating to the floor in such a way that they provide cover where needed? Does that make sense!? Would be bloody hard to achieve though.

Sounds like a great idea for charity though Dee, all the best, let us know what you go with!
 
If you're in the photo Dee whose going to hold the camera?

I can't think of anything better than the reciept poll idea.

Thats what Ive asked the organiser! I said I would rather be behind the camera for our businesses photo, I am yet to hear back from her :thumbs:
 
You could use some of your calculators

It's a good job this is a ladies shoot and not the men, otherwise you would have arguments and falling out over who needs the very large desk calculator and the little hand held one is far too small :lol::lol::lol:

Good luck, I hope you manage to raise some good money for the charity :thumbs:

No man in our office would want to take part anyway :D
 
Some good ideas there.

Can't help feeling with Dee featured in the calendar it could get quite a few sales here on TP!

Using an abacus to cover up your "bits".. could be moved about to resemble a bikini top?
 
We'll need to raid a few kids toyboxes for those...

... by the way, there are 14 ladies working here :D
 
Some reading material and an oven. Isn't that what accountants do? cook the books??

you could go down the route of sexy secretera....
skirts, stockings, hair-tied back and two ladies perched on a desk, legs crossed looking tempting.
that might appeal...or is it meant to be more comedy?
then a modest shot of a lady answering her phone, hidden by the office chair, demure and quite clean.
wouldn't be hygienic at the office though :P

on the photocopier suggestion, you could easily have something saucy coming out of the photocopier whilst a modestly hidden lady stands behind the lid :P
 
a bowler hat, briefcase and a long umbrella. -the old look of accountants/buisnessmen up to the 70s

the other thing could be using two of these adding machines: (like this:

on a nice old wood desk, covering up the chest areas. -and crossed legs too!

also, there was NO DOUBLE-PUN-TENDRE INTENDED! using the words "long umbrella" purely to describe what they could be wearing!:$
 
Black plus sign. red minus sign and a % sign strategically placed might do the trick.

You could have a money tree and then mock it up Garden of Eden-esque with the featured ladies eating apples given to them by the serpent who would be made out of the receipt rolls - that would be an interesting spin on it!!

-it creates whole new layers of confusion and difficulty!
 
We have our image submission deadline... 5th June!

We better get thinking of something pronto, Ive mentioned these ideas to the girls, and a couple have stood out for them, so thanks for that everyone!

hmmm -more picture ideas!

calculator in one hand, pencil pot on desk, both suitably aligned?

are you going full body or just tops like the original calendar girls?
 
hmmm, depends on available props I suppose, but I have an image or maybe 4 or 5 ladies sat in a row along an old fashion wooden table on old fashion wooden office chairs, all naked but shot from behind so what you actually see is body shape rather than any 'naughty' bits. Each is obviously doing something 'accountancy' - tapping an adding machine, writing in one of those old fashioned ledgers, maybe one with head turned and holding a pen to her lips looking like she is in thought... am I sounding totally daft now? :cuckoo: :nuts:
 
Do you know what month you will be yet Dee?
I was wondering if that could be factored in there somehow too. Don't ask me how just yet though, I haven't got that far!!

We are February :)

Its also not really gearing towards the whole "Calendar Girls" idea now, so we will be fully clothed. Boo :D

The first thought was Valentines Day, but the calendar may be printed in B+W!!!! Whats the bloody point? :D
