What to do when its raining and you cant get out to take piccies?

OOOO and what waterproof options is there for DSLRs??

Waterproof options... Try Storm Jacket.. about £38 from warehouse express. Quick and easy to fit and it works Or Rain Sleeve from Speed graphic, Pacamac for cameras about £5 for 2 cheap but effective. I use both

Or a heavyweight polybag, such as the ones you get your trannies back in from pro labs (well, Multiprint anyway). Cut a hole the size of the lens (most of mine are 77mm fronts) and a slit down one side to get your hand in. A rubber band round the front - job done. I keep two in my rucksack for when I am afloat taking boat to boat pics and I need to keep the saltwater off the camera. Works a treat - FREE!

Just a thought - the kind of black bag photographic paper comes in would work too - and smels nice!

Run the business and spend hours on TalkPhotography:D

Its not just rain.

The worst is the flat hazy light you get during a long-term high pressure system. You feel you really should be out there with the camera and when you get out there you realise yet again that it was a mistake.

It's funny how the time taken to do the work that needs to be done expands when there's more time to do it in.

If you see what I mean.
