Very new to photography so this might seem a dumb question but was just wondering how resistant my fuji finepix hs20exr would be to rain?? Can't see anything in the manual etc about it. Live in Scotland so it's always raining:) Also if it's not resistant is there covers or something you buy?? Any help would be cracking as I'm meant to be going out later and it's chucking it down.

Hi Donald

If it doesn't say it is water proof / resistant, then I would take it as not being - this would be a feature I'm sure they would highlight.

You can use something like this http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-optech-rainsleeve/p1017072 how practical or good fit for your camera it would be, I'm not sure, but for £6 might be worth a shot...

There are other makes etc out there, here's another option http://www.wexphotographic.com/buy-storm-jacket-slr-small-black/p1017348

Hope this is of some help...

Or you could use a clear plastic bag cut a hole in the bottom insert just over lens fix with elastic band, cheep as chips
