Yes
I've been asked to do some promo shots for a new motocross track in essex so I'm going down on saturday morning. It's forecast to rain but I know I can make that work in my benefit. Downside is I don't have a rain cover for my 70-200mm.

Where's the best place to buy a cheap one that can be delivered by tomorrow.

Or

should I just use a black bin liner and some elastic bands?

I'm in Romford Essex so any shops that stock them would be ideal.

Local Tesco's for a plastic bag, cheap and it works, just make a hole for lens and attach with rubber band, hand through rear to operate. Simples :D

Something like this will be the fallback plan but I want to look professional as there will be future work involved in this :).

Very....arty Ken ;)

I wonder if it is possible to give them a call to expedite delivery by RMSD or something. They're in Devon +44 (0) 1884 254191

Thanks for that, I've already e-mailed them so will see what they come back with. if not I'll call them in a few mins.

Then Waitrose :D

In all seriousness - one of the bags for life type - one with a large area of solid colour... or inside out?

lol, I wonder if I could get a Harrods carrier bag haha.

Erm, yeah, something that's a little tough but cheap really. I've been shooting for years and only really shot in the rain a few times so it's pointless spending loads of money.

Defo a plain colour, I've no need for camo or anything like that.

More than anything the important factor is water proof and with a hole on the underside so I can still adjust the zoom.

Have you tried amazon? then just pay for next day delivery!!

I've got a couple of Op-Tech rainsleeves for bad weather shooting. I got mine off ebay and took about a week to arrive, but you can get them on Amazon and have them delivered Special Delivery. Might not be in time for it now though, but they are worth grabbing a couple. I've got one for with flash on and one for without and they are small enough just to slip in a pocket on your bag.
